The European Gambling Harm Prevention Network (EGHPN) was created for European NGOs working on preventing and reducing gambling-related harms at individual, communal and social levels.
We listen, learn, share, and advocate.
EGHPN envisions a world where people at risk from gambling harm get the best possible protection. A world where help is accessible for everyone in need. Networking gives NGOs the possibility to make an international impact on gambling policies and regulations.
The network does not take or accept money, sponsorship or other benefits from the gambling industry or any of its social aspects organizations. Each member NGO and private person is obliged to inform the network if they have any conflict of interests that should be disclosed. This principle means that all our events (including webinars) are meant for people working in the fields of gambling harm prevention, treatment, research, and regulation thus excluding people that work in the gambling industry (broadly speaking). We feel that there already are venues for all the actors in the field of gambling to come together and we reserve the right to have our events gambling industry free.
EGHPN brings NGOs around Europe together to share knowledge, ideas, experiences and perspectives.
