What information do we collect?

Briefly: We collect personal information that you provide to us.

We collect personal information that you provide to us when you:

  1. Participate in any activities provided or hosted by EGHPN

  2. Sign up to our mailing list or events

  3. Express an interest in obtaining information about EGHPN or it’s activities

All personal information provided to us must be true, complete and accurate, and we wish you to notify us of any changes.

We automatically collect some information when you visit our website. This information does not reveal your identity. Automatically collected information:

  • IP address

  • Device information 

  • Location data

  • Browser type

  • Information about your activity in the Website (such as time, date, searches etc.)

  • Device event information (such as error reports, hardware settings etc.)

How do we use the collected information?

Briefly: We collect information to provide information and develop our services.

EGHPN collects follow-up data on all of its operations. EGHPN may contact the person in question later if the person has given their consent when the follow-up data was collected. In that case, EGHPN will store the following contact information: name, address, e-mail address, reference of the person’s organisation and the event in which the information was collected. 

We use the information we collect or receive to:

  • Inform you of upcoming events and relevant news

  • Inform you of structural changes

  • Send administrative information to you

  • Request feedback

  • To respond to legal requests (If we receive a legal request, we may need to inspect the data we hold to determine our response)

Will your information be shared with anyone?

Briefly: Only with your consent.

EGHPN does not disclose contact information to outsiders and only uses it in its own operations. EGHPN does not disclose any address or contact information to third parties.

We only share information with the following categories of third parties:

  • Data analytics services

  • Website hosting service providers

  • Data storage service providers

How and for how long do we store you information?

  • Manual materials: stored in locked facilities.

  • Information processed by IT: a limited group of users has access to the data, and the access is protected by passwords. EGHPN has carried out the appropriate IT measures to ensure that no outsiders can access its operational area.

The contact information will be stored for as long as it is valid or until EGHPN receives a written request for their erasure.
